My name is Sam Rutley and I’m a web developer and SEO consultant based in Manchester (UK).

Education

I studied Computer Science and Business Management (BSc) at the University of Birmingham (2004-2007).

Employment

In 2008 I joined Just Search (one of the UK’s largest online marketing agencies) as an SEO consultant. Almost a year later I joined PushON Ltd as a search marketing consultant, specialising in technical SEO and web development. In 2010 I was made Web Development Manager at PushON, managing a team of developers to deliver web development projects.

Awards

In 2010 I ran an online marketing campaign for Love Those Shoes that won the Best Use of Search award at the Big Chip Awards. In addition to this I have worked on a number of award winning campaigns including; Hyundai (30 Beats) at the Fresh Awards 2010, Best Use of Animation at the Big Chip Awards 2010 and Great British Spirit at the North West PRide Awards 2011.
